I had a great stay at the hotel, especially considering the price I paid. It's very central, clean, and offers a fantastic breakfast. The staff were really helpful and friendly, making my experience enjoyable. I had high hopes for the Tulip Hotel given its proximity to the Cape Argus Cycle Tour start point, but my experience was quite disappointing. While the location is fantastic, especially for cyclists, the overall state of the hotel fell short. The rooms were cramped, and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. Parking issues compounded our woes, and I left feeling frustrated after just one night, despite having booked for four.
